Wheee…

Ok, lugging around this stupid laptop was worth it. At least for right now when I need to be here at school but don’t necessarily need to study… too much. Haha. I think I bombed my Greek Quiz, no surprise. And I just found out I killed my Assignment too, which is really stupid. So much for doing assignments during a boring lecture. Never again! But yeah. there goes all my freebies. Whatever… more dilligence, gotta study! Yay!!!!

:S Star Sigh Star… Speaking of stars. Stupid Astronomy and its stupid Uranus Assignment. Gotta get to that….

Bleh.

listening to nothing… cause I’m studying.
verse Now I figured out what happened! I rewrote my Verstimony so I lost my spot. LOL… Meh here’s the end of it…. “For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.” - Ephesians 3:14-21

Ghar! Didn’t get paid…

So that’s really annoying. They told me today would be my first pay cheque. And then on top of that they cut down my hours. Horay Old Navy! Frig, if I didn’t like working cash so much (at least for now), I’d just quit and go back to the City. At least there, I’d get 16 hours a week for sure, and that’s double digit pay too. *sigh* This is for the experience! Not even the discount… I don’t even have money to buy any clothes even at 50 percent off… Experience! I handled for cash in one week than I did in a whole summer with the City… Yes.. the experience.

School is getting… easier/harder. Hah! How does that work. Don’t know what to make of it. Some classes I’m killing myself on, others I don’t touch until the day before the lecture. Fun. Stupid Astronomy Quiz. I really shouldn’t second guess myself. My first 2 tries were 9/10 then when thought I figured out what my mistake was, on my last try, I get screwed over and get 8/10… Whatever. I’ll kill the Assignment.

Ok.. Study for Greek. YAY!

verse To whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. - Colossians 1:27

Phenomenon of Religion…

Just needed somewhere to put this…

Issues behind the Phenomenon of Religion…

What is Religion? If in a thousand years, future generations are looking back to ours in order to study our religious practices, what should they consider is our religion? Does it just include those rites and practices that are commonly percieved to be religious? Or should it be expanded to include the fanatical (sometimes called “religious”) devotion of some people to professional sports teams, celebrities, or to other tanglible or non-tangible things such as fame and fortune. On that note what is a “god” anyway?

On that note, what is the “Christian” religion? Most make Christian Religion synonomous to going to church. After all, if you suspect that someone you are talking to is a Christian, what do you say or ask to confirm this? “Do you go to church?” or “What church do you go to?”

Bleh.. I’ll continue thought later…

Star, Sigh, Star…

Well it’s been a long time, and so much has happened. For one, I finally decided to get a domain name. www.ichthus.ca, so now, this blog is hosted there, which is cool. Hopefully something will come out of what I’m trying to do there too.

School starts Monday, yay. I already started my new job at Old Navy, yay. And so this is my life. Exciting! Tennis with Josh once a week, classes and work the rest of the time. Here we go!
