Orchestra Music…
Posted by: in Blogger on February 26th, 2007
All these videos were from “Grace Sunday” at my church, Morningstar Christian Fellowship, on February 25, 2007.
Indescribable, Chris Tomlin
Your Grace Still Amazes Me, Phillips Craig and Dean
Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone), Chris Tomlin
Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone) Piano Solo, Chris Tomlin
I know it’s alot of my hands. I gotta figure out a new angle for my camera, but as I told my friend, I couldn’t very well pick up the camera to take a video of the orchestra could I? haha.
Crazy lazy day…
Posted by: in Blogger on February 25th, 2007
I can’t believe how lazy my day was… actually my entire week, really, but by far, today was the laziest. I just love these lazy Saturdays. Let’s see. I woke up. I ate. I watched a little tv. Then I napped. Then I woke up. I ate again. And then I watched a little tv again. And now. Well now I have to go to a party, but… yeah. It’s still been a pretty lazy day.
I guess it has to do with my reading week ending. *sob*. And the fact that the next 6 weeks of school are going to be pretty ridiculous. I have 3 papers of 2k+ words to write. Plus 5 exams to prepare for. How’s that for the end of the year. Plus of course, don’t forget, I need to get jumping on these frigging job applications if I want to make any money at all this summer.
I’m really hoping though to have like a solid 2 weeks or so before I start any kind of full-time type work, or whatever, so I can actually get some of the things I promised myself I’d do accomplished. The two major ones are 1) FINISHING THE FRIGGING “BIYAHE TAYO” VIDEO, and 2) Move this blog over to WordPress once and for all.
Actually, those two things are pretty tough as well. To do the Biyahe Tayo video, I need to learn how to use a whole new Video Editting software (MovieMake just isn’t going to cut it for this one). And to move this blog to WordPress, I’ll need to learn how to program in PHP, XHTML, and learn some more CSS along the way. *Shudder*, I actually am not looking forward to learning these new languages, and.. well generally the whole idea of having to redesign my website. But man, my page hasn’t changed its look (except for a change in background colour now and then) in over a year. And the video editting is going to be ridiculous as well… but that’s even more important, cause other people invested some of their time, not just mine into it. So I gotta get moving on these things.
Oh and before I forget, I need to clean my room. And I mean clean. Not just tidying up. I actually had planned to do that this week, but, yeah, it’s been a crazy week right? Blah. Oh and then there’s those… 5 books I bought in the Philippines that I haven’t read. And the Learn French audio CDs that I spent so much money on that I haven’t touched in months.
LOL. Quite a list huh? Let’s see if I can actually get on it.
Just for Bianca…

Haha, I’m pretty sure you already know what this is about already… and no I will not be spoiling the conclusion for you… No of course Meredith doesn’t die. Duh, or else we’d probably have to find a new favourite show to watch. But yes, someone does die… and it has something to do with Meredith not dying…
Anyway, I was just reading your post “The Grey’s Anatomy Death Watch” – and I have to admit I didn’t understand it until just now. But yes, I am quite amazed at the depth of your Grey’s Anatomy knowledge. LOL. I don’t know that much even for my most favourite shows of all time (The Unit, JAG, and The Simpsons). But yah, I will say no more for fear of spoiling it.
Enjoy the episode
Meredith [Narrating]: “There are medical miracles. Being worshipers at the altar of science, we don’t like to believe miracles exist; but they do. Things happen. We can’t explain them. We can’t control them. But they do happen… Miracles do happen in medicine. They happen everyday, just not always when we need them to happen.”
I’ve had my fill…
Posted by: in Blogger on February 21st, 2007
Well we ended our fast at aproximately 12:20 this afternoon. And we have had our fill… although I was one of the last ones to do so. Those guys were on their like 2nd plate just as I was finishing up my first. Haha. I guess I’m a slow eater… or maybe I just pilled it on higher than they did.
I am now full, and quite satisfied, ready to get on with the rest of the day… although only one thing really is left, that is rehearsals tonight for Sunday. Phew.
The end is near

11:30! That means in 30 minutes, we can start eating… I’m going to be taking a shower soon, then we’ll be getting in my car and driving furiously to Star Walk.
Oh yah. So we were supposed to do 30 hours, right, but then we realized that the Buffets that we wanted to go to close their lunch at 2. Which is the time we were supposed to break fast if we went for 30. Then we decided, hey, the way we chose was arbitrary anyway… it’s not like the 30 hour famine or anything, so we were like, ok forget it, we’ll just break 2 hours earlier… for 28 hours… so we can eat at Star Walk.
LOL. So here we go. Yay! Food :S:S:S I slept some more after I finished working, but right when I woke up like an hour ago, I could feel the pain once more. Food… Food… Food…
Hungry :S:S:S
Posted by: in Blogger on February 21st, 2007
Work is a little slow so I’m just gonna post this up real quick. I lied. I am actually REALLY REALLY HUNGRY. My stomach has been growling non-stop for the past 45 minutes :S
24…
Posted by: in Blogger on February 21st, 2007
Although actually, I am not feeling much of the hunger at the moment – no hunger pangs or anything like that, but I know that the worse is yet to come.
But anyway, here’s just two more random things that I can think of, about 24.
- In the movie School for Scoundrels, there was a really funny line… when the guys were trying to get the passanger manifest of a flight they were posing as secret agents of some sort: “You knwo the TV show 24? Well this is something kind of like that, except our version would be called, oh I dunno…. ONE” LOL. Hilarious.
- Switchfoot has a really cool song called 24, which I really enjoy.
Twenty four oceans
Twenty four skies
Twenty four failures
Twenty four tries
Twenty four finds me
In twenty-fourth place
Twenty four drop outs
At the end of the day
Life is not what I thought it was
Twenty four hours ago
Still I’m singing Spirit take me up in arms with You
And I’m not who I thought I was twenty four hours ago
Still I’m singing Spirit take me up in arms with You
Twenty four reasons to admit that I’m wrong
With all my excuses still twenty four strong
See I’m not copping out not copping out not copping out
When You’re raising the dead in me
Oh, oh I am the second man
Oh, oh I am the second man now
Oh, oh I am the second man now
And You’re raising these twenty four voices
With twenty four hearts
With all of my symphonies
In twenty four parts
But I wan to be one today
Centered and true
I’m singing Spirit take me up in arms with You
You’re raising the dead in me
Oh, oh I am the second man
Oh, oh I am the second man now
Oh, oh I am the second man now
And You’re raising the dead in me
I want to see miracles, see the world change
Wrestled the angel, for more than a name
For more than a feeling
For more than a cause
I’m singing Spirit take me up in arms with You
And You’re raising the dead in me
Twenty four voices
With twenty four hearts
With all of my symphonies
In twenty four parts.
I’m not copping out. Not copping out. Not copping out.
Hour 16
Posted by: in Blogger on February 21st, 2007
Well we have entered hour 16 of our Pre-Lent fasting. And we’re all pretty hungry. The guys are downstairs, and we’re going to probably watch some more movies before heading off to sleep (I need to sleep early because I have to work early, but I’m mad that I miss watching Fight Club with them).
We have set our plans for tomorrow, which is to go to Star Walk buffet. Haha, what a way to end the fast huh? The bad thing is, which I didn’t realize until just now – I’m going to finish my fast, but I have to start my ban on junk food at the same time :S. Plus on top of that, we’re watching all of these movies, and can’t enjoy them with a bag of Miss Vickie’s Jalapeno chips like I like to do… Hmph. Oh well, that’s the point of Lent huh?
Ok actually it looks like they’re watching fight club now. So I think I’m gonna watch a bit with them before going to sleep.
The one that started Lent…
Posted by: in Blogger on February 20th, 2007
Well. Joseph, Eman and I (and I think Isaac too) are doing Lent this year. Josh is giving up video games, Eman anime, and me, junk food… All junk food. *Shudder* how am I gonna do this. Haha.
Anyway, to start it off, we are doing a 30-hour fast. Yes kinda like the 30-hour famine. We were just going to do it for a whole day, but we figured it’d be too easy. So 30 hours it is. We started at 8 this mornign – 8:30 for me cause I had to work till 8. But basically, it sets us up to have a buffet lunch tomorrow.
It was really funny cause I noticed they left me a bunch of messages last night, cause they forgot what time it started. I slept early… so yeah. I had to make sure that they started their fast on time (by which I mean, they ate a last meal) so I called Josh and Isaac this morning to start them off, and amazingly, they were eating their last meal already. Eman was asleep still when I called, so that was a good thing.
Anyway, after work, I went to MacDonalds to kick off the fast – and Lent as well. Since I’ll be fasting all day today, and tomorrow, Lent starts, I won’t be able to have any more MacDonalds or any other “junk food” (which includes fast food, chips, etc…) until, oh man… April. Scary. But I think it’ll be cool. It’s my first time ever doing Lent. I hope I’m not aiming too high. LOL.
Ok well, that’s about it. We’re going to just chill at my place today, so we can starve together. haha. I’m actually scared cause I think I feel a rumble already in my tummy… I can’t be hungry already, can I?
What to do, what to do…
Posted by: in Blogger on February 16th, 2007
Oh my… Ok so this morning, I forgot to reset my alarm clock right, so I started work 30 minutes late. LOL. But that’s cool, cause somehow that extra 30 mins of sleep that I got really refreshed me. Yesterday, I only had 2 hours of sleep right, and today, I still only got probably 5 at the most.
Anyway, I am officially on break. And I’m going to be watching a lot of movies. Haha. Rented ones that is… I got a coupon book from my video rental place, and I intend to use them all. Yesterday, I got The Illusionist, which I have been waiting to watch since the summer. I also got School for Scoundrels, which I watched this morning. It was really good… Some real laugh out loud moments, and altogether a good story. I’ll watch the Illusionist tonight with the guys.
I’m going to nap right now, cause I’m expecting the guys (starting with Josh at 2PM) over tonight.. Some poker. food. and uhm.. beverages. That kind of thing. haha. Then tomorrow, we go straight into a get together with our sister group, H2O, so yah. It’s going to be an eventful 24 hours.
Yahhhhh… Reading Week!
