I started off the week pretty terribly, actually. I’m pretty sure I was sick … On Monday, I only had one class and it was in the afternoon, so no big deal, really. I spent the morning dealing with school of music stuff, making sure that my students showed up this week (amazingly, only 2 didn’t). Then I picked up my loan documents, though I still haven’t gotten the money yet, and off to class (where I got my midterm back).
Anyway, Tuesday was way worse. First, I couldn’t get a metropass cause they were all sold out. Meaning I’m gonna spend about an extra $20 this month to get myself to school. Although what this does mean is that I get an extra 30 minutes of sleeping every day, because I won’t need to leave at 6:30AM to get a decent parking spot. Anyway, I was outta the house by around 7/7:15ish… And I proceeded with my normal daily routine. Which meant breakfast at Timmy’s and reading the paper before class started. I didn’t feel it at first, but certainly by the second hour of class the cafein was really messing with me. By the end of the class, I had a pretty massive headache. I still had a class left to go so I just toughed it out since my bag-stash of tylenol was all out from that time I had food poisoning last semester. But man, was that last class of the day torture!
Anyway, I was planning on going straight to work, but the headache was getting really bad and I just had to go home to pop a coupla pills. It took forever to work, though, but thankfully by the time I got in to the jist of things, I was feeling pretty good. Once the pills wore off, though the headache was back. I decided not to pop any more pills though until I went to bed.
Wednesday was kind of the same, except instead of a headache, I felt really nauseous after my morning coffee. Felt that too… it all really had to do with whatever I had this week (I think it was just a cold). But Wednesday was good cause I had nothing else the rest of the day, so I went straight home after school and took a nap.
Thursday, i was definately feeling better, and I began to appreciate more how things are really looking up for me. My TV is finally getting replaced after 2 long months of phone-tag with HP support. I’ve got all my marks back and it looks real good. Classes are kinda boring, but eh. And of course.. work is busy, which I know usually sucks, but it means money for me!
So… can’t complain at all. But I’m really getting in to the deep end of things now. Time is really clicking, and in 8 months I will be an official college graduate … and hopefully, a graduate student as well…
