Waking up to sunshine…

Actually, not quite yet.. but I noticed last week that it wasn’t pitch black anymore when I wake up. Which is great! No more half-asleep driving to the station.

One problem, Daylight Savings time next week… Which kinda sucks (I think it means I’ll have to wake up to darkness again). But at least that means the days really are getting longer.

Anyway… horay, Spring is almost here!

I am still missing my one hour of sleep.

I wish the daylight savings time change happened during the day so I can go to bed one hour earlier ;)

    Hooray for spring!

Hey… there’s no need to “daylight saving” as it’s something that comes and goes according to how God has ordained it. Right on Schedule!
It’s not a bad thing so don’t know what you say it “sucks” …when you get up in the dark, why not shine the light?
This might be by making some time to pray, not much else to see if you think “darkness” is not nice to get up in! After all …darkness never kept God at a distance as He’s been with you all through the whole dark night and even then, He’s maybe waiting right now for you to view His night time or day time as HIS opportunity to speak to you.
    You need a new perspective.
God will not only “cheer your spirit” in the getting up before it’s light (“dark” as you called it) but He will fill the darkness of your soul with LIGHT! His Light.
Makes an entirely new day without rushing the long daylight hours as though that’s what makes a “good day”.
It’s God’s day. He shares it with you …so it doesn’t “suck”.
It’s glorifying to Him if your heart is right.

    Charlie…
